So I'm not gonna buy a ticket to L.A., but is there any way I can see the art?
Will I be able to buy any of it?
I'm broke, but i'd save up.

My roommates best friend is one of the artists in this show! He was supposed to call me a while ago and get ideas but never did. *shrug* He also did a similar show that had an 80s video game theme and it was really rad. I'm pretty stoked for this. Wow Thursday is comin' up? yessssss I'm SO there.

today's cryptic blog entry reads=
The last 2 artist additions to "Under The Influence: The Official Art Tribute To Beastie Boys" will be doing what is promised to be a legendary collaboration.
it appears Shepard Fairey (the Obama "Hope" portrait) and Glenn E. Friedman (exclusive Beastie Photographer) have been added to the list.
does anyone know of an artist/design firm called Evil Design?

It was really great...there were lots of photos being taken so I am sure they will start popping up soon. No Beasties or any of their crew but uh Jason Biggs? Hah. Reppin the Jews.
Some seeeeriously amazing stuff at the gallery. I gotta go back and check it out when it's not so crowded, it was pretty jam packed.

yeah, free wine and vodka is always good, but it was crowded with every single artist and their friends. there are hundreds of great pieces of art here.
I'll probably head back after work one day and get some good pictures.
but that link that samiam provided has pretty much every piece.

I'll have a moment this afternoon to upload my pics i took a bunch, but yeah that link has pretty much every piece. I read my booklet last night omg it's awesome. Someone's (maybe me if I get a moment) gotta scan this... it was one of the artists doing a comic type drawing booklet of the making of Paul's Boutique, basically summarizing the 33 1/3 book.
