technically, that would be the original version.
was never really a fan of that track. its kinda corny. glad they abandoned it.
on a sidenote, does anyone know where that version originally surfaced? was it made available for the anthology or did it just leak somewhere, what's the story?

Hilarious.
For an unfinished track that is just them fucking about, the original is pretty decent. I don't really like the modern one though, but I like that people love it.

I remember hearing about it for the first time maybe around 2002ish. I think I may have gotten it in a trade...but I'm not even sure. I think it just leaked out...maybe 9th Beastie or Minton/tpk have some recollection.

Live versions of the HN cut are sick, especially nowadays. Something about the album version (maybe I've heard too often) makes it harder for me to pay attention to. Always love the joyous reactions of those around me when they hear it, though.

The OG Intergalactic was slated for release on the never released (but much talked about) Don't Mosh in The Ramen Shop 1995 CD-ROM.
Awhile back (maybe circa 2002) Ian Rogers had a message board on an older version of the Grand Royal.com site. For a short while, there was streaming music on the site...this consisted of the usual GR artists with an occasional rarity tossed in. I think the very first time I heard the song was there...there were three additional Pauls Boutique demos streamed on that site too...and that is where those were sourced from. People back then did real low tech captures....which required running a double-headed headphone jack cord out of the speaker output on the back of the computer tower with the other head place into a recording device (DAT or MiniDisc)...oh the good ol' days how I miss them.
