Bob, if you lived closer (and in a no homo way) I bet we'd be great drinking buddies. Seriously. I know we don't converse on here much but you get my vote (y)

i dont wanna be all preachy, but bob, i bet you that if you went and chatted up a chick in one of your classes for a little bit and asked her out for saturday night, you would not be denied. even for something as simple as a movie.

i know it aint easy to ask someone out. ive done it. ive done it and gotten turned down. granted, im still here by myself, but... i dont have that what-if. at least i know where i stand.

I'm starting to think Bob is horribly disfigured or has a physical handicap of some sort.

I went to a wedding, had a couple dudes try to put the moves on me, but they ended up counteracting each other, as one guy sat by me and drove away the cuter one. I tried to get together a hotel party, but didn't happen. I should've just put a room on my credit card, seriously.

but I was only a couple miles away from home, so here I am at home with my cat and my pjs.

:/

the groom did lick my face though, score!

if I didn't have to work tomorrow, or if I were 5 years younger, I would've stayed out all night. stupid responsibility.

last night I:

went to the gym
came home and took a bath
ate an english muffin with organic peanut butter and sugar free blackberry jam that I bought at an open air market.
made some coffee too
then I watched the movie "the dutchess"
then I watched tv and did pilates for awhile
and then like a retard I opened up that stupid book "twilight" book (a coworker bought me it without knowing I try to stay away from best-seller books like that) and I stayed up until 2 fucking am reading it.

now this morning Im wishing I had gotten 3 extra hours of sleep instead of doing that.
or atleast went out and drank 6 beer at the bar instead.

ha, twilight! I kind of want to read it even though the internet says it's terrible.

I forgot to put my reply in the form of a wish. oops. I wished there was a hotel party. I wished I could've made out with the beardy cutes that I danced with, instead of talking to a frizzy-haired videographer for an hour. that guy was nice though, we had fun. I fixed his watch.

actually, the whole night was really lovely, so I shouldn't complain. I feel like most of us were having fun celebrating the bride and groom in a genuine way, rather than just getting wasted and searching for hook ups. (y)

except this one dude who was in the wedding party that just got divorced and was passed out drunk in the bathroom before dinner, then arose to stumble around the ballroom hitting on chicks in an extremely creepy manner. I don't think he was having a very good time. :(

Saturday night: Nightclub. Drinking. Dancing. Another nightclub, more drinking and slightly less dancing. Strange trip to supermarket then consoling friend while sitting in a fountain filled with barkchips (water restrictions) eating potato chips. Attempted hookup made by ex-lover, failure owing to laziness and drunkeness of both parties. Interest is noted for future bootycalls, though.

Mine was going to a psuedo-strip club earlier on (they still have bra and panties on) with my improv class. Some girl suggested it, random. Was okay though, pretty low-key.

Then came home, had the dudes come over, watched the Golden Globes and ate way too much Little Caesars, played Seinfeld scene it which I of course kicked everyone's ass at, and then to bed with the book Outliers.

I don't think having a "date" is normal...is it?

bump! i'm home alone on a saturday night again. i could be at a party, but instead i'm online. why? because i have a paper to write, because i was out last night and got sick, because i should learn to spend some goddamned time alone, because i dont wanna drive 45 mins home at the end of the night. i would rather be partying, still. but my reasons for not are kinda good.

i just wish being home alone didn't make me feel so lonely.

do people usually actually go on dates every saturday night? i couldn't imagine that kind of lifestyle

monkey
06-27-2009, 08:10 PM
im not ever on dates, im just usually hanging out with someone or other, being lazy, or partying with friends. i know people who do go out on dates on saturday nights all the time, they tend to go to bars more than i do.

Bob
06-27-2009, 08:12 PM
are they people in relationships already, or is it just like "well it's saturday, time to find another girl ho hum"

it's depressing that i'm supposed to be able to do that

I prefer going on dates during the week. It's easier to focus on your fella or lady without having to fight with the noise and chaos of the weekend bar/restaurant crowds.

jump down turn around shake it on a saturday night

I saw a led zeppelin cover band in the rain and danced like it was really led zeppelin. went home ate some dinner, went to a party and spent basically the last 5 hours waiting for something fun to happen.

I actually had a fun and nice time all day saturday, I shouldn't complain.

I got drunk and repeatedly hit in the arm (I got a bruise!) by a guy who was mad at me for being so cool and awesome but not making a big deal of it.

Now I'm sober and eating Ben&Jerry's. Yes, it has finally arrived here.

Went to Pride with a large group of lesbians and got drunk and broke a girls skateboard doing tricks (that I hadnt attempted/done in 10+ years). I also met a ridiculously fat cat that liked to rub his face on my face. We tight.

woke up in the afternoon, done my laundry, downloaded my songs, trained a bit with a friend on the psn for SF4, packed my clothes in suit case for my trip. Feeling kind of home sick already. :(
