Not much, in my opinion. The TV awards were on the money. I didn't see some of the nominated films but I did see Slumdog Millionaire and can't believe that was the best movie, but I have very few complaints. And I love Kate Winslet with a fiery passion.

i'm just saying that a lot of the films that i thought were gonna get nominated, didn't. which sucked.
BUT tina fey's speech was awesome (y)

I hadn't seen very many of the movies nominated...only slumdog millionare and wall e I think.
I just guessed who would win based on who I like already and who I've heard should win and I guessed right on mostly everyone, so it was a fun game.
I love kate winslet as well, she is quite lovely and seems so nice.
I haven't seen the wrestler, but I want to. mickey rourke is a lovable weirdo. and an extraordinary actor, I'm glad he won.

My friends and I are watching and WHOOOO BOY is it awkward.
Seriously so many uncomfortable moments.
Tracy Morgan is the bestest though.

Tracy Morgan is the bestest though.
Yes, he, Tina Fey, and Kate Winslet were the best in the show by far.
I found the ceremony itself so painful I did a lot of fast forwarding.
Drew looked a bit off but I thought it was bad hair and makeup.

when the american press makes fun of the foreign press (and vice versa), you have to be suspicious.

^ aren't the oscar's considered the top of the line anyway?
.... I love Kate Winslet with a fiery passion
and i completely agree with that....

while i concur on the predominantly corporate conglomerate controlled us media, documentary filmmaker vikram jayanti (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0419683/) is not a representation or manifestation of it. despite the overall perception of award shows, the golden globes and hollywood foreign press really are preposterous.

my bad!

the pictures dont showcase her arms that well, they were so bloody skinny.
I swear they zoomed in on her more during her speech compared to other stars just so that her scary arms wouldn't be in the shot!

favorite part:
“Even though the Golden Globe people are by and large idiots,” critic Powers says in the documentary, “they often make better choices than the Oscars.”
Totally redeemed for me by Mickey Rourke's very well deserved victory.

slumdog millionaire is easily one of the best films i've seen of late, so i'm happy it won stuff.
although awards shows, for the most part, are kind of irrelevant.
Audio.
