thanks for the reminder that there's still mouth breaters foaming at the mouth because the rein of terror has come to an end.

the comments on that site are disturbing, and also quite clearly show what we all know but Faux News continues to deny... that they're not fair and balanced, but a radical right mouthpiece.

the viewers are okay with it, and the rest of us know it, but the company denies it.

such a non-story, oooh he didn't want to get down and dirty while doing a meet and greet. What a shocker...

I found the article to be a little amusing...sorry if you didn't.

it's not the article, but the comments

Yeah, whenever I feel good about living in what I think is a fairly liberal oasis, I read the comments on my local newspaper's website and see how many dumbshits I have for neighbors.

I love the comments "It is things like this that show the true nature of a man. Look what those damn liberals have let in. America is over, rivers of abortions will wash down our streets and Muslims will be living next door."

I don't care what anyone says,,, conservatives(or at least people who are against the democratic party) are the nastiest when it comes to anonymous comments.

I found a video for it...it's hard to believe they made an article out of it, but it is fox after all. Talk about things getting blown out of proportion!

I like that obama guy, finally, a real person, not a character.

But can't you see who he really is? We don't know ANYTHING about him. Incidents like this one where he beat up a reporter for saying hello just go to show he is going to signal doom for America.

Rush Limbaugh hopes he fails (http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/blogs/sfgate/detail?blogid=14&entry_id=34773) and he is getting paid $33 million dollars a year to espouse anti-american rhetoric against the new president of the united states.

Whoa, now. You can disagree with any president and still be patriotic, pro-America, or what have you.

You sound like President Bush's supporters when you say something like that.

Limbaugh is a dick! I realize he gets paid to bitch and complain but you would think he could hold off just a little while unil Obi gets settled in.

whatever, just pointing out that i can say what i want and he can say what he wants, personally i did not support the last president, which he did, for 8 long years.

ask yourself, are you better off now then you were in the year 2000? is america better off in the year 2009 than it was in 2000?

I think what we have is a fellow who espouses hate on the radio for a living, that just maybe, rush limbaugh is becoming more and more insignificant by exposing how he really views the peoples will.

That's true, but what's being missed here is the incredible irony of the fact that a couple of years ago, he was lambasting people who were vocal in opposition to Bush and his administration by calling them unAmerican, unpatriotic, etc and saying that people need to shut up and stop complaining, that they should get behind the President becase he is the one who was elected. I don't know the exact quote, but it was either Limbaugh or one of the other Fox blowhards said practically word for word, "to openly and publicly say that you hope for the president or his policies to fail is digusting, shameful and unpatriotic."

John Stewart got it on the Daily Show last week, can't remember which day but it was brilliant. (of course.) I might go see if I can find it.

hoping the president fails in these times...is treasonous, anti-family, anti-worker plutocracy.

Thanks for that link. Jon as usual is better at news than those who should be delivering us the news.

I'm not too sure yet, but I have a pretty distinct gut feeling that Blacks, Hispanics, Muslims, Jews, Women, Men and Children are going to blast these desperate haters into the ether. How far do they want to go? Give them enough rope.

I see only the democrats in the House voted for the President Obama's stimulus plan today. All of a sudden the republicans are having some sort of bizarre conscious after spending money like drunken sailors (http://www.cbsnews.com/blogs/2008/09/29/couricandco/entry4486228.shtml)the past 8 years.

At least the markets recognized (http://blogs.usatoday.com/ondeadline/2009/01/stocks-rise-on.html) that sitting around with a thumb up your ass, as they did in 1930, would probably be a bad idea.

Exactly. You know, I never WANTED Bush to fail. He just did, miserably. I've never wanted any politician to fail, because who loses in the long run? Us. The nation. The world, even. So when you say shit that you hope he FAILS, I do consider that to be anti-American. Wishing your leader to fail its people and the nation is pretty much the definition of anti-American.

And Bob - hulu.com and dailyshow.com aren't available outside of the US. I learned that the hard way. However, we have thecomedynetwork.ca up here, which is Canada's Comedy Central, pretty much.
