I'm with Rob on this one. I'm not much down for outdoor festivals. I rather be inside with great sound, no mosquitoes, less opening acts, not paying $8 for water, no Porta Pottys, and less acid tripping hippies running around half naked.
I'll be at the front row on the concerts on the East Coast tour. But, I'm not feeling the "festival" shows.

I wasn't doubting or hoping they wouldn't play festivals, Jennifer
Just stating my dislike for them was all.
I'm happy for you that you're going to get to see them there.
We've almost come to expect them to do some summer festival dates as a warm-up to their actual tour, like they did in '04.
I'll also be waiting for the actual Beastie tour dates.

Im really excited! Bonnaroo is the type of festival where every act gets full sets, even if you are on the bottom of the lineup, you will have a 75min set, and 90min, while headliners get 2h - 4h or even longer... Im hoping Beastie Boys bust out the longest set of their career and make it something really special, being their first time there. Maybe perform Pauls Boutique in its entirety, or some new material...
