Not that I know of.

My best advice would be to cancel the Amazon order and buy from BeastieBoys.com for an immediate digital download.

Topspin let's you download all tracks of the album for free. (160 kb/s mp3)
Just go to beastieboys.com and start the album player. To see what URL your browser is using to play the songs, just have a look at your browser cache. In Firefox you could just open about:cache. Look for http://bits-#.topspin.net entries. Open these URL's directly to download the songs. Thank you Topspin.

MP3s at 160kbps will in no way replicate the sound quality of a remastered album. Just buy the damn thing.

Don't care too much. Paul's Boutique was mastered at 16bit in 1989. Now they remastered it at 24bit for the re-release. Great. Let's hope they sent the 24bit master to the record pressing plant. For the CD release they had to downsample it back to 16bit. I believe all those mp3 and flac version were created from the CD. So you might be in luck with your choice for vinyl.

I don't understand why there is no hybrid SACD release which contains a normal CD layer at 16bit and a SACD layer at 24bit.

maybe cause SACD is more niche than vinyl

kensai: yes, our streams aren't encrypted and there is no DRM on the files that you download. it works on the honor system. personally I believe that people are generally good and given the choice will choose to engage in a value exchange with the bands they love instead of going to a lot of trouble to get something for free.

it's not like MP3s of Paul's Boutique haven't been available for free on the interwebs since 1999.

you're welcome.
