Why are you people who are like middle aged, who werent hormonal teenagers(like me) at the height of their popularity even in this thread? Your not their target audience. It would be like me making fun of my little bro or sis for listening to the jonas brothers. When I was in 7th grade me and my outcast loner friends would listen to blink182 and bands like them and skate around and tear shit up in hotels, now quit shitting on my nostaligic memories!!!!!

That is unless you send them out to collect empty bottles for the deposit!

Were you talking about the band or was this a reference to the middle agers who shouldnt be in this thread?

i used to work with a lad who was mad on this band and he constantly went on about them and i am fully aware of what they were like, i dont think they were the worst band , i just dont think their reform will be earth shattering, i understand you could be happy about it i just think you should prepare yourself for a mediocre album. And being old doesnt mean i cant have an opinion.

Actually it's ignorance with some of these 'oldies' opinions. Blink 182 unfortuntely split up when they were just getting interesting, thogh to be fait they did the pop-punk thing as ell as anyone. I'm fairly indifferent to this news, by the way, but they're better than all this dire emo-indie shit and the likes of Fall Out Boy.
eh I like them so whatever lol.
yeah it was annouced when they were presenters at the grammys.
Also now on there official website (http://www.blink182.com/band/message.aspx)

sadly this incredibly true. blink 182 was my all time hated band along with that whole scene at the time. i'd take that scene, enjoyingly, anyday over this emo shit.

I was talking about blink. I'm actually not too stoked about them getting back together. Tom Delonge is a whiny bitch now.

Alright point taken. I don expect much either, for me they were an alternative to all the gay shit my peers were listening to. Now that I'm older its almost as lame as new kids on the block reuniting. But hopefully I'm pleasantly suprised.
