I'm in a decent mood, considering.

I woke up to find some idiot swiped my car and has ruined the drivers side panels. And insurance won't cover it.
I got about six hours sleep across the whole weekend, worked all day and am about to head off to a bikram yoga class.
I got up at 5.30 this morning and swam for an hour. I hate swimming.
The town my family lives in has pretty much been burnt out by bushfires, and family friends in the area have been missing since saturday.

I must have a sunny disposition.

Yeah, those bushfires are terrible... 108 dead so far. Worst natural disaster in Australian history. Some of the stories have been incredible/sad.

The fire was described by some people as a team of F18s swooping past raining fires from the sky, a hardcore firestorm. Some people were driving flat out on the highway and the fire still caught up and got them. Nobody had time to think/act at all.

The saddest story I have heard so far is a man rushing out to his car and putting his kids and wife in it, rushing back into the house to grab last minute things and running back out 30 seconds later to find his car engulfed by flames and his family burning inside it.... so tragic.

Entire fucking towns have been completely wiped out. Watching all the footage last night on tv was so heart wrenching.

The news about the fires is really terrible, and all the more freaky to me because heavy rains and regional flooding continue to wash out the roads up here in tropical Queensland. Like, the grocery stores are running out of produce because the trucks can't get here. It's wild. Yesterday I was making cracks about how I should go down to Melbourne and bring the weather with me, but things are a bit more sombre now. :( I hope things get better soon.

But even with appalling natural disasters at both ends of my gracious host country I'm still in a pretty good mood. All the other staff at my job are living off-site so I get the staff quarters all to myself - it's like a fully furnished apartment for free on top of my wages. I think that's just dandy. And I have tomorrow off so I get to drink tonight. Even better! (y)

I havent done it. But I think gay guys do it because I mean, where else would they put it? I've heard straight girls say it feels good, and Its something different than the everyday vaginal fuck. But I have a hairy ass and a little dick so my options are kind of limited either way..

yeah, my friends took me out and got me drunk and I called my mom a couple hours ago and she asked me if I was drunk, and I was like, "maybe" and she totally got mad at me. she's been with my grandma all day...all day, she's going to sleep there, my grandmas has 5 children, but my mom always always takes all the shit...and I called her to see how she was, and she got really mad at me. she said, "I have to go".

I mean, at least I put her mind on something else...but I wish I could just tell her that love her so much and I appreciate my family and I just feel like I should be there and I miss my mommy so much and I don't want her to feel bad.

Im going to stop now. because this is gross.
