Excuse me if this was posted before, but I couldn't find it in a search. I was trying to find the release date of PB20 on EMI's site here in Canada (which is the 17th apparently) and came across IC Limited Edition to be released in March.

Whats the deal here...anyone know? I thought IC was already out on vinyl but could be mistaken

Like with CYH, looks like another re-issue/hopefully remaster in the pipeline, judging from the release date. Which is pretty fuckin' cool.

I can't wait until the new record is remastered. It sounds so plain and boring the way it is now.

I actually heard they were going to release the remastered version first, then un-remastered version 3 months later, then the new and improved remastered version in another 3 months. Kinda like the whole New Coke then bring back Coke Classic thing.

Will the Ill Communication remaster make the vocals sound any less like they're coming through a transistor radio flushed down a toilet? That would be a nice surprise

Ever try...

FUCK that. The distorted vocals is one of my favourite things about that record.

I concur.

i second that concur! the fucked up vocals on bullshit mics made out of plastic are what makes the lp name, and cover artwork brilliant! ok, maybe here and there listening to the album I'll say to myself you know I wish the vocals would be clearer - but overall it's what makes the whole thing special.
