White Privilege

I've come across Tim Wise before, I think, but I heard him on the radio today and it stopped me cold - I've been listening to his youtube lectures for the past few hours. It is truly amazing what he has to say about the institutional denial of white privilege by whites- at least it has really resonated with me. Thought I'd throw out some of his stuff here and see what people had to say- I'm sure there will be many with strong opinions. Talk amongst yourselves...

I think its a bunch of bullshit. But I'm not exactly white so there ya go.
He uses the term "people of color" alot what does that mean exactly? Non-european? I think its just human nature to favor people that look, act, and sound like you, regardless how many liberal whites would admit. I'm not gonna try and put myself on a moral pedestal. I see alot of hypocrisy in people.
I think we need to do away with labels.
White privilege exists in white countries as much as asian privilege exists in asian countries etc.
The reason europeans seemingly dominate the world is because they had the best tech. guns. armies and so on.



I went to get a loan and they asked my race I wrote down human in side the space.
