There was scratching in Flashing Lights and Let's Get It Started?
There was very little scratching in Intergalactic.
Sounds like an odd playlist so far.
Jones says. “If you learn how to scratch on this, it’s the exact replica of the real thing. You’re essentially buying a little studio.”
I know a bunch of Turntabilists that will call bullshit on that claim.

“If you learn how to play this game, then you can do the real deal.” That’s probably because Scratch has some of the biggest DJ equipment makers, including Numark, building the game’s controller and drum pad.
Haha. If it's just like a real Numark then it will fall apart in a few months and become a useless piece of junk that sits in your closet!
See, they're saying "it simulates the real thing exactly" but the motherfucker in the picture has a fucked up tonearm on the wrong side of his right turntable. You can't scratch like that! Who even makes turntables like that? Messtax? Plus he forgot to hook all his cables up! And his sampler only has like 5 pads. That thing is like the MPC 5xl or something. They did get the race accurate though cause only whyte people DJ now (its a joke people, lighten up).
But yeah, the thing that irks me is that everyone confuses mixing and scratching. They come out with "Scratch" magazine and it has (almost) nothing to do with scratching. How is this "scratch" the game? None of those songs have a lot of scratching in them. If they put Anti-theft Device, Wavetwisters, or Phantasmagoria on there they could call "Scratch." This is like "laptop-mashup dork" the game.
For real though, I'm going to cop this shit though and give up scratching all together. It's probably going to be fun as hell. I won't lie. I'm going to buy this and try to flex on some 12-year-old kid and he's going to somehow be a super-master at it ON THE FIRST DAY IT COMES OUT, throwing up hand-gestures like its the 1998 DMCs, murking the fuck out of me.
In the meantime, if anybody wants to step to me on the cut post a fucking file and I will stomp on your proverbial neck in with scratching.

Damn, you threw down the gauntlet on that shit.
I'm nice with the scratch, but I'm not gonna battle someone who is dubbed "Sir" SkratchaLot. Fuck that. I don't want to get embarrassed.
On the real, though. I was mad disappointed when Scratch magazine came out as well. It wasn't even a good Gear magazine. Is it still in publication?
But, tanks for the inspiration. I just popped in my Wave Twisters dvd. I haven't watched that in a minute.

I've been scratching for almost 15 years...and I want to diss on this...but if it wasn't for Guitar Hero, I never would have started playing guitar....so hey cool that it continues the culture
Along with the newly announced tracks, Genius has promised music from The Gorillaz, Deltron 3030, Nelly, and Run DMC, as well as music from the upcoming solo album from Beastie Boy Mixmaster Mike, who is also providing creative and technical support for the game.
There is also a "DJ Hero (http://kotaku.com/5142899/activision-boss-confirms-existence-of-dj-hero)" coming out.

I wasn't aware that MMM had a new solo record coming out. I really like Bangzilla. The beats were knocking on that record.
