if you lived in an apartment with other people, and you knew that one person was sick and in their bedroom with the door closed and quiet music was playing....would you hang around in the adjacent kitchen just slowly clinking things around and eating a snack? or would you get your snack quickly and go away into another room?

I would do the second thing. some people do the first thing. what would you do?

i would make a telephone call, cackle loudly, and turn the heat up to 70

I would do whatever made me the happiest at the time and ignore the sick person. Sorry.

I'd say, "why do you refer to grown men as boys", but that's just me.

The better question is why are you disguising the gender of the sick person with poor grammar.

clearly you are sick and pissed that your roommate is making too much noise.

that sucks, but thats life. you have roomates, they have lifes too, that dont involve you. you can explain your situation to them and they could oblige, but they have no real reason to other than to make you happy. if they have no real connection to you, ex. family/best friend, than they really have no real reason to not do what they want to do, excluding being a socially unacceptable huge asshole.

soddddy, you lose this one.

I was just slightly annoyed at my roommate for being in the kitchen when I didn't want her to be, but it wasn't her fault and she wasn't doing anything wrong. just feelin hermitty.

Drop kick the door down and pour hot soup on them.
