The first movie was abysmal, this is going to be the same.

Sure, it looks all business, but I can guarantee you that there will be a section in there where a transformer raps, there will be a fart/feces joke/s, and that annoying boy will get all doe eyed over some girl, so Optimus Prime will give him dating tips before telling him to believe in himself.

Oh I woudn't say that it was abysmal but the fighting was shot too close to the action and at times it was hard to see what was going on and keep my lunch down.

the fighting was fine? sure it got close sometimes but that's just the CGI guys wanking themselves off - you had to expect it. i like the fact that 3 or so decepticons land in the aircraft carrier. the first lot of decepticons should have been jet fighters full stop; not a cop car and an army utility truck??

agree'd, there are some things Bay did I didn't agree with. It was quite possible to design the characters much closer to the source material (Prime being the only one who looked somewhat like his cartoon/toy counterpart)

but...it still will be a great popcorn flick
