they don't have to be songs that were released this year. Just good, solid, fast paced songs that I can have fun with during cardio work outs.
I am seriously sick of my collection right now. I really like listening to stuff like Daft Punk, CSS, the Presets, Cut Copy, MSTRKRFT, blah blah blah. But I'm pretty open.
Gratzi :D

I like mixtapes a lot... there's no pause between tracks and it keeps a (pretty) constant pace so I'm not drastically speeding up or anything and then slowing it down. This guy called DJ Greg J has some good (free!) stuff you can download but this one called Smells Like Chicken: The Soundtrack (http://www.djgregj.com/audio/DJGregJ_SmellsLikeChicken.mp3) is my most recent favorite.
If you dig that, I have a few more tracks I can send you or upload somewhere... just lemme know.
liquid funk/dnb is great while working out

More to mull over:
Scratch Perverts - Stand By (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-GJPcs7WcPU)
Primal Scream - Swastika Eyes (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DtAnM8YegF0&feature=related)
Chemical Brothers - Saturate (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=agb-oFZjuGM)
Bloc Party - Flux (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ttcboE1GrNg)
The Music - Strength in Numbers (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=omFWGBfVRo4)
The Stone Roses - Begging you (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KoPeS-8tgWo)
Some tried and tested stuff in there - but worth a bash methinks (y)
I don't know if this is even up your alley, but lately I've been listening to the Actress - Hazyville album. I think that this review (http://www.boomkat.com/item.cfm?id=146962) sums it up the best way possible. I usually run to something that flows on and on. Most of the tracks are 5-6 minutes long and I can get lost in it while I'm doing my thing.
Same applies to Flying Lotus - Los Angeles. (http://www.boomkat.com/item.cfm?id=98441) Recommended.

sweatin' to the oldies (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OoaRS2YwXlk&feature=related)
I try to hate myself, but the beat in the crookers remix of Kid Cudi's "day n night (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVb_t_ao9gw)" makes me want to dance my shit off at the chorus every goddan time I hear it somewhere.
came out awhile ago so you might already know of it. "vice (saint pauli remix extd) - the floor is made of lava (http://neonized.net/uploads/stuff/2009/090227saint/vice.mp3)"
I just thought it was a lil right up your alley cause they remind me of LCD soundsystem.
I gave away my old ipod and haven't bought a new one yet so Ive been stuck listening to my gym's pick of a radio station and I basically know every Lady GaGa song by heart now :( :( :(

basement jaxx - get me off (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NoDaYW8pPnU&feature=related) has a great pace for the gym. love this song.
fuckit just get most of the basement jaxx albums.
True. Although I prefer some of their older schtuffs over newer schtuffs.
Also, for some reason I think you'll like Frankmusik (http://www.frankmusik.com/).

:o:o ok, dont laugh at me, cause i laugh at myself for this enough -
when im running, jlo and beyonce dance songs really get me working out harder. im considering a full hour of jlo and beyonce for when i run the half marathon. have you ever seen beyonce's legs? that girl WORKS OUT.
i was actually considering a similar thread though, to fill the other hour. :p

Daft punk, 2 Live Crew & Basement Jaxx I already have on my lists. ;)
Monkey - no worries. I don't like those two, but sometimes I've been known to a crappy Britney Spears song or two purely for the quick tempo to keep me moving. I like when people take the instrumentals and put someone else over them though (y)
