i picked CD, I haven't even ordered mine yet. I'm lazy. i'll go to Best Buy.
I did, however, get Shilled on ebay for three PB cassettes from back in the day, the out of print colored ones...

I bought a PB on cassette last summer. It was on eBay for $1.99.
It was a green cassette. I miss the swirled one that I had when I was a teen.

Did anyone buy the deluxe digital? I'm morally opposed to the concept of paying to download music, but that seems to be the only way to get video commentary. Anyone know if it's worth it?

I was checking the Beasties PR firm's website this morning, Nasty Little Man and saw a spectactular set of packages available with one of their artists. The packages range from $7 for the digital download with three videos to $75,000. The artist is Josh Freese and here's the description:
JOSH FREESE: SINCE 1972
SOLO ALBUM TO BE RELEASED IN ELEVEN CONFIGURATIONS PRICED FROM $7 TO $75,000
$75,000 (limited edition of 1)
-Signed CD/DVD and digital download
-T-shirt
-Go on tour with Josh for a few days.
-Have Josh write, record and release a 5 song EP about you and your life story.
-Take home any of his drumsets (only one but you can choose which one.)
-Take shrooms and cruise Hollywood in Danny from TOOL’s Lamborgini OR play quarters and then hop on the Ouija board for a while.
-Josh will join your band for a month…play shows, record, party with groupies, etc….
-If you don’t have a band he’ll be your personal assistant for a month (4 day work weeks, 10 am to 4 pm)
-Take a limo down to Tijuana and he’ll show you how it’s done (what that means exactly we can’t legally get into here)
-If you don’t live in Southern California (but are a US resident) he’ll come to you and be your personal assistant/cabana boy for 2 weeks.
-Take a flying trapeze lesson with Josh and Robin from NIN, go back to Robins place afterwards and his wife will make you raw lasagna.

^^ Eww, that's disturbing.
I have a serious comment. I don't think that I can tell the difference between the original and remastered albums. I have only listened to the CDs. I bought the new vinyl but haven't really listened to it yet. When I listened to the new CD I thought that maybe the bass was more distinct in parts but then I wondered whether I was imagining it because I was listening so hard.

I've got the original PB on vinyl, with a fold-out sleeve (that Mike was amazed by, he hadn't seen it before with such heavy cardboard),
and on cd and a Russian bootleg-cd (I suspect it's a bootleg, it got stuck and the seller gave me negative response on
eBay when I complained... )
I'm waiting for my local record store to get the new vinyl, gonna get that one.
