I switched from Netflix to this and it's awesome but they have some funny quirks.

Sometimes, movies will reappear on my queue months after I've already watched and returned them.

Sometimes a movie that I put on the queue will magically change into a different movie with a similar title. I had the stoner comedy Pineapple Express on my queue for several weeks before one day it became a movie called Pineapple, a movie about an exotic dancer.

I've been renting episodes of The X-files, and season two is supposed to have 7 discs, it even says so on their website. But they only send you 6. The last disc has the season finale and bonus features. When I emailed the customer service dept they told me that most people don't want to rent bonus features so they just don't have the last disc. I wrote back to tell them the last disc had the season finale and the response I got said the same thing as the first email, that they don't think people want to rent bonus features. ??

Also, when you rent a movie from the store you get these phone calls telling you to return it by a certain date or else you'll be charged. So I returned it by the date but the store still charged me, and this bitch lady at the store was like "Well, that's Blockbuster Total Access and they're a different company and we can't be held responsible for the phone messages. You should just really try to keep track of the due dates"

Has anyone else had anything weird happen with this company?

I used to screw them over, though, so I shouldn't complain. Their plans stipulate that you can exchange a certain number of movies in the store per month, but for months they only counted the movies I exchanged at one store, didn't figure out that I was exchanging movies at two separate stores so I could exchange double the amount. Was that so wrong of me?

Ha, they kicked me out of their service because I got too many movies. It's not like I made a list of all my favorite movies and then systimatically got them from both the stores and through the mail so I could copy them all.

A&E's website is a good resource for movie lists btw.

I always felt like Netflix was a better overall service. I tried the Blockbuster deal for a while and just didn't dig it. I think Netflix has a better selection of movies and, in my area, they seem to be more on top of receiving and sending my movies.

Not to mention I just hate going into Blockbuster stores. They depress me for some reason.
