So once outside of my work building, one of the workers is standing outside having a smoke, he turns and this guy who's walking and texting at the same time walks right into him and drops and breaks his glasses.
The guy was trying to get money for his glasses but the worker had to go back in and work so the guy is standing there asking how is he going to get his money.
This guy has kind of a deformed face, especially around his eye. It looks like he really needs glasses.
I've seen him around the building, just something didn't look right about him.
Today, he's actually inside of the building and my coworker spots him and asks what he's doing inside. The guy was hesitant with an answer and next thing you know, here comes one of the execs from our building and he's opening up his wallet.
My coworker didn't feel right so he told the guy to leave before any contact could be made.
Then this guy walks to my area where I'm standing and I just do not like the vibes this guy gives off so I tell him he needs to get the fuck off of the property. He tries sticking around and I tell him that I don't think he understands me and that I have no problems tossing him into the street.
He takes off in a hurry. My coworker that initially spotted him inside the building told me that he's got a feeling that he's at the train station instead of clear out of dodge. He goes to the train station and sure enough, there's the guy.
My coworker has a hold of him, the exec of our building is contacted and meets up with the guy and we ask him if he broke the guy's glasses.
The exec said yeah and was about to pay cash to him. Come to find out, he was about to shell out $400 to the guy.
Well, needless to say, the scam artist won't be around here anymore. We got him on camera from the lobby cameras and a meme has been sent to all employees about him.
This shit makes me love my job.
