out of curiosity, what would the other two most disappointing releases be?
It wasn't that bad.
It was a throwback to early Prodigy with more Kieth Flint. If you're still into that era of techno you'll like it. If you've moved on, you won't.
Personally, I thought it was worth listening to. The bonus track "Fighter Beats" (I think that was the title - something like that) was one of my favorites.

well if by early you mean "Experience", well, i like that album, as for "that era of techno", i hadnt really been on the earth long enough. i just thought the album was really cheezy and not very deep. like weird pop rock techno arena rocker stuff. i donno, just not for me i guess.
I previewed it on itunes last night and I must say that I'm a little underwhelmed with it too. I prefer them when they do it more 'breakbeat and edgy'.

got this yesterday, i was listening to the first 5 tracks and was thinking of replying to this thread telling you all that you had no ears cos the first half is really good, first two tracks are some of the best they have ever done, but it is disappointing cos the last few tracks are very weak indeed. never mind.

I quite enjoy this album, much better than their last one IMO, but it's not going to be as acclaimed as Jilted Generation, Experience or even Fat On The Land. But I think it great and one of the best electronic album in a while. Although I'll too admit that the second half is weaker, except that I love the last track.

Hey,
managed to get off me arse and do a new mix. Its a track from the Prodigy's latest album with LDTBOAG with a few other bits and a lot of messing about with the acapella, bit different for me but i like it. Enjoy.

Finally listened to the proper version. Quite an improvement. Especially Warriors Dance.

I think the album is really, really good. Though the last 2 tracks do very little for me. I can't actually believe how good some of the songs are. Thunder and Take Me to the Hospital are just insane, and Warriors Dance...fuck me! it's like taking the best Fedde Le Grand beat or whatever the fuck his name is, throwing it in with No Good Start the Dance and making it about a million times harder and better.
It's weird cos i would have thought the majority of this album would be exactly what you're average Prodigy fan would want, but it's always a mistake to think/assume on behalf of others. Still, fucking love it.
