Yes!

spring rolls from the chinese are shit. they only ever put beansprouts in them.

my family make spring rolls a lot better than the ones you buy in the chinese. my english friends have told me so.

Send me some. Plz?

My grocery store has the best vegetarian spring rolls!
Just add soy sauce!

the food carts in china town are the shit. i got a thing of noodles for $1 and the spring rolls are 2 for $1. these are all basically just vehicles for duck sauce. the people are rude as fuck, but i like it anyway

last time i got this stuff i asked myself if its a good idea or not to eat food made by people who can't stand any of their customers

i like those deep fried bread stick things that you sometimes get with jook
also, it seems like the waiters and waitresses at yum cha joints are always surly
not just nz in either.
then again service in china, from what i can tell, is substandard...so it's hardly surprising.

they are savoury

and very greasy... (http://www.hot-screensaver.com/wp-myimages/deep-fried-bread.jpg - check out the oil...fish and chips aren't even that bad!)
but good nonetheless
and yeh, who cares if the service isnt the best so long as the food comes out at a good pace

One of the things I'm most looking forward to about the move to Shanghai is that I will get to eat lots of these. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xiaolongbao)

i think i've eaten the chicken feet once before, the browny spicy looking sauce it's cooked with looks and smells delicious but i won't eat the chicken feet. i don't think i've eaten tripe before. what does it taste like?

i think tripe on its own tastes like nothing...so it pretty much tastes like the sauce that it bathes in.
but it's kinda rubbery...not the nicest texture.
actually i don't even know why i eat it.
my white mates are too soft to try chicken feet.
i'm to soft to eat durian.

yeh durian is rank.
it's banned from hotels cos it'd stink the place out.
also, it tastes worse than it smells, if that's possible
it's soft and squishy but tastes like raw pork
