Howdy

I've been in a real Funkadelic mood recently so i decided to make a mix to rock in the car. Funkadelic are without a doubt one of the greatest groups of all time imho and the mix features tracks from 1970 to 1974 and in the main are from the bands first six studio albums on westbound (one b-side and two 7" edits included). So without further ado, free your mind.......

I could understand leaving out Knee Deep, for the sake of cohesion, but neglecting to include Good Ole Music aka "the song with the second greatest opening drum solo in all of music" is just mean.

knee deep will feature in part 2, edited though i imagine

too many other great songs i could've added but what can you do ? ideally i would've started with mommy, whats a funkadelic ? and finished with good thoughts bad thoughts, but cutting up six albums into a nice cd length mix AND including every single bit of funkadelic dopeness is way beyond someone of my limited skills and for that i apologise
