Sit down and tell me about your problems...

*************************************

(Sometime later)

Well the depression and ADD is pretty bad and you seem to show all of the symptoms of suffering from Perfectionism which is leading you into typicalistic maladaptive views on yourself and what you believe you can achieve.
I think it would be suitable for you see a therapist and continue taking your prescription. I will make the necessary arrangements for you to see someone but unfortunately this can take anything between 12 and 14 months. In the meantime please take this pamphlet and consult with your Doctor should the situation worsen.

I'll just stew in my juices for a year then.

So you're baited with some sort of recovery after a 14 month therapy? Maybe "Mark" better donate his stewing juices to "Sophie"?

No, I have to wait 12-14 months for the bloody therapy. Who's Sophie?

Stick with it chipstick. It will be worth it in the end - and probably one of the many things that benefits from being done slowly and properly.

yeah but having to wait a year after an initial consultation is a bit of a piss take.

My friend has been in and out of the therapy, various institutions, hospitals and places I don't want to think about for years and years, without a clear diagnosis. Not saying you're in the same boat or in as bad a situation as she is, but it can take time.

You know, from Peep Show. Anyway, in 12-14 months, a lot will have changed, hopefully for the better.
