What brand of tea do you buy? Lipton? Tetley? Is there such a tea you buy called English Breakfast? Or would that just be silly? Have you had Irish Breakfast? What's the difference, really? Why isn't there a Scottish or a Welsh Breakfast Tea? If there were, what do you think they'd be like?

There is a blend called English Breakfast - yes

But its the general blend you get with Tea really. I don't drink tea but my housemates drink Yorkshire Tea.

So English Breakfast is really just plain old black tea? What is Yorkshire tea?

Yorkshire Tea is a brand.

I get the impression that English Breakfast is a bit more refined than the normal blend, which I assume is what you are calling Black Tea. I know nothing of tea, so I could be talking out of my ass here; tho I did used to sell it and there was Blended Tea and English Breakfast.

I like Iraqi tea, or chai as they say. No milk and really sweet. Kinda good actually. Fuck milk in tea, that's wrong.

There is Scottish breakfast tea! I bought it for me dads once!

I like my black tea milky and super sweet. I find most varieties of black tea (or orange pekoe) taste all quite similar to me. But when it comes to Earl Grey I definitely have my preferences when it comes to brand.

I think peach apricot honeybush tea sweetened with honey is my favorite tea combo as of late.

oh, and mint!

Mmm tea.

If I drink black or green tea on an empty stomach, it makes me want to barf.

Anyway, when brits have tea, I'm assuming they have a black tea blend usually, with milk and sugar, right?

I saw this movie called Le Divorce, and they made some comment about how it was proper to serve sugar cubes with tea, not granulated sugar. But that was in France. Is there a proper way to serve tea in Britland?

Helvete

Yes there bloody well is! And yes it involves cubes.

Nuzzolese

oh, indeed? And besides the cubes, are there any other important elements? A saucer? I drink tea out of souvenir and custom-designed mugs, not proper tea-cups.

Erm yeah, like a teapot with tea leaves (bags are rarely acceptable), saucers, milk in the cup first I think. Then sugar last with one of those tong things. I don't fucking know, I may speak like a posh English asshole, but I don't drink tea like one!
