i was waiting at a light and this new video display ad on the side of a bus drove by , nearly fucking burned my corneas with a flash of light. it pulled over, letting people on/off. this flash went off every 10 seconds, lighting up the entire side of the street everytime the logo came up. it was so exhaggerated i couldnt believe it. on the side of a bus. not in midtown but on the upper east side.

this is about three hairs away from a time when advertising resorts to roaming robots that slap you, grab you by the ears, put your head on a chin rest and beam messages directly into your mind.

how the fuck is this not intrusive?

it sounds dangerous.

Did you buy it though is the question. If not you can tell them that sort of advertising doesn't work.

that doesn`t even sound legal!

I swear only emergency vehicles can have flashing lights of any sort.

perhaps our laws are completely different though. I dont think BC even allows underbody neon lighting anymore.

its not an actual strobe, but the screen is so bright. its these white flashes. its bad, it actually felt like back to the future 2 or minority report or 1984 or irobot.. kinda unsettling, interesting, exciting? maybe that was just me tripping on it

also, whenver i watch ms nbc there constantly talking about twitter and tweeting and twatting. sometimes thats not the most annoying thing about that channel

product placement on jimmy fallon is outta control
