Man jumps into Niagara River, goes over Horseshoe Falls and lives!

Wow, not many people have survived without some sort of protection. The only other case of this was a young boy who fell over a boat decades ago.

The Niagara River is a vicious river and the Falls are fucking powerful. This guy is lucky he didn't get crushed on some rocks or ice as well. wow again.

NIAGARA FALLS, Ont. — A man who jumped into the upper rapids on the Canadian side of the Niagara River and then fell over the Horseshoe Falls was rescued this afternoon after spending more than 40 minutes in frigid waters below the falls.

That's Badass.

I use to go cliff jumping at a local Quarry when I was a kid. The highest peak was about 100ft. and not many people even attempted to jump from it. I saw one person do it and they came up with what appeared to be a few cracked ribs. I'm blown away by the very idea of going over Niagara Falls. You're right, that river is frighteningly fast and powerful.
