we're showing this where i work from next week and the pre-sales are great. the director, piers guy (wind farm engineer - he's in the movie) and mark lynas (climate change advisor) are coming in to do Q&As.

i have the dvd of the film on my desk and it says "please please please do not copy this dvd or pass it on to anyone. not even your mum" on it. haven't watched it yet so i can't really comment. i should put it on youtube. i kid i kid.

i don't know about it. i've researched it to fuck cos i've been trying to sell it to the press but i'm unsure. it was originally 6 stories about climate change. they showed it to a select audience and they were all like WTF? so they roped in pete postlethwaite and the archivist theme to bring it all together.. i hope it succeeds for their sake but it was a so-so movie before - is that "last human on earth/some fancy animations of our apocalyptic future" narrative gonna cut it?

what i'm REALLY jealous of is that the distributor sent one of our competitors in wales a massive easter island head as part of the promos whereas i have to flog t-shirts, eco shopping bags, mclibel dvds and coffee mugs to our customers :( i want an easter island head!
