i bought raphael, donatello, rocksteady and splinter. it's the original splinter
with the plastic head and not the later rubber-headed one. they don't have
pizza points though, which sucks. the 4 turtles each come with a dvd of one
of the first four episodes of the cartoon series.

i had these when i was a kid. i remember being upset that i only ever had good guys though, i didn't have any bad guy action figures for them to fight, so i just had to make them practice fighting against each other all the time. they were some fine tuned motherfuckers, i tell you that

i remember one day my dog got a hold of my donatello and chewed off his leg and part of his arm and mangled his head pretty badly. i think i still have him lying around somewhere at home (the donatello, not the dog)

I could never find Splinter or any of the bad guys anywhere. I had all the turtles, the van and a few shitty side characters but that was it, so like Bob I just had to make do with a cardboard sewer and make them beat each other up over pizza all day.

Oh, except one day some guy came up to me at school when I was 6 or 7 and gave me a Bebop figure because he didn't want it any more. Bodacious!

during my teenage mutant HERO turtle phase i lived in germany so when we came back to the uk to visit my grandparents i would always, always, always ask my mum in safeway or wherever for the TMHT pizzas on sale. they were basically normal pizzas with MARSHMALLOW and other highly inappropriate pizza ingredients on top - because, you know, that's what hero turtles eat. she refused every. single. time. for years. christmas. summers. no no no. DENIED the probably disgusting gimmicky pizzas. oh my broken heart.

I had those big ones. Okay maybe that sounds perverse. I had one of those tall ones, and had all the action figures they were easy to get at the swapmeet for a dollar. I liked these toys a lot until I fell in love with lego and McFarlane toys.

Point is TMNT is gay.

even though they were the original animal fighters before those mutated Sharks and Space Rats and the animated Mighty Ducks or Gargoyles but still TMNT is gay. pff
