I just wanted to talk about sunglasses in here, no big deal.

recently I got a pretty good pair for free at the airport with a purchase of $10 at a newsstand. the weird thing is, cort got the exact same pair at a gas station in Indiana 2 weeks previously, but I hadn't seen them.

I got another pair from a friend, red wayfarers, a couple of years ago when he was riding his bike and saw them in the street and thought they suited me. (they do/did, but all the kids are wearing them shits now so I feel a little trendy with them on.)

and my absolute favorite sunglasses ever in the world were a pair of purple sunglasses shaped like the ones Michelle Pfeiffer that I got at Rainbow (http://www.rainbowshops.com/) downtown after I renewed my driver's license. but I lost them in the ocean. :(

Decathlon - its a sports store chain in & around Europe.

I'm always breaking them so I get plastic ones, and I did lose these last year so I bought another exact same pair then a friend admitted he stole them in error so I have two pairs now.

I'd take a picture if my webcam and glasses was both in reach - I have just woken up though

I've never been 100% satisfied with a pair of sunglasses. The ones I got from Big Lots leave little red marks on my nose, the Dollar Store ones slide off, and the ones I stole don't actually look very good on me. Maybe I should consider paying more. Perhaps mickill is right. There was the time I bought some from a street vendor in Italy but those broke before I got home.

Do you remember those sunglasses that you could get at Pizza Hut when Back To The Future 2 came out? I bet you'd be a super cool trendster if you had a pair of those, D.W.!

There's this guy in Chinatown here (seriously) who, if you agree to pay in cash with no receipt, will sell you two pairs of designer sunglasses for the price of one. They aren't knockoffs, they come in the boxes with the cases etc., and if you think about it, what do you really need a receipt for anyway.

i buy the knockoffs. i want a real pair but i just can't justify the price. especially since i gravitate toward the Dior knockoffs. i look the real ones up and i just can't believe how much a name sells something!

my favorite knockoff i've ever had were these Dior that i bought in vegas. the lenses are so scratched now, but i've held on to them longer than any other pair.

i have a sunglasses obsession, and my husband hates it. i tell him it could be a lot worse, i could buy the real things!

here they are! SO BIG! I <3 them. i wish they weren't scratched all to hell.

Bought a cheap but wearable pair for my trip last year and they lasted the entire time. But then I somehow lost them between the airport and my house on the way home. FFS.

Want to buy decent pair this year but will still look shite on me. If it wasn't for the wrinkle/squinting issue, I'd probably go without.
