I live pretty close to Forks.

If vampires were Miller High Life swilling, flannel and Carhart wearing, Redman stuffed in both sides of their mouths, redneck hillbillies then the Twilight series would have been much more accurate.

yeah there's a legendary story bantered around at work that goes on about how the hells angels were going to ride into Forks kick ass and take some names but the loggers headed them off with some logging trucks across 101 and and a bunch of knarly woodsmen just standing in the hiway waiting to kick their asses, they turned right around and headed up the peninsula route.

I have little doubt that story is based on true events.

It would have made a better story than Twilight. (y)

The last time I wore fancy dress was at primary school (US's MIddle School). I just can't bring myself to make the effort. Not even for Halloween.

I wish I could though, embrace the fun and not feel like I'm not getting into it because I don't have a major passion in any particular character in pop culture - or even do it ironically.

So yeah, I envy people who dress up.
