I think whooping was the bastard child of the "woot" disco call...I was watching Saturday Night Fever on the cable T.V and they were woot'n on the dance floor...I was all like "Hey!"...yeah...

anytime i watch an old arsenio video, i find the whooping really bizarre. i guess not so much if one or a few people do it, but when most of the audience is doing it, its like 'what the fuck is that'?. i guess no more weird that people smacking their hands togethers to show appreciation
