I've decided that I would probably like this college song back in 1999/2000 because I'd have identified with the getting wasted and partying part, but I'd still hate the kind of people who'd be the type to jump up and down all sweaty and drunk and in polo shirts, singing along to the song and hugging each other. that's the worst, I saw that happen at a sailing party once. with a dave matthews song. it was frightening. (I was at a sailing party because my roommate was rich and in the sailing club).

anyway, I was going to compare the situation to "big pimpin" being my birthday song the year I turned 21. I love that song, but so does every other douchebag. (did I just call myself a douchebag?)

but you can't really compare because "I love college" is a shit song and "big pimpin" is a fucking great song.
