I found that same page a coupla days ago, but there wasn't that quaint little photo accompanying it though. I hope that's the cover. That would look fantastic on a nice big LP face.

I can only imagine that the release date is default. Since the album is due for sure in '09, though an actual day hasn't been set, perhaps they just temporarily mark the release date for the very very end of the year, thus maintaining the only concrete information that TG will indefinitely be released this year, until the actual release date is set.

Wouldn't that be a drag, though? A 12/29 release, yikes.

There is no way that that is the real cover, especially if Tadlock the bus driver is African American. The Beasties Boys are too smart for that, and no good musical lawyer would let them chance it, after the whole Obama monkey pic that was all over the media recently.

Googling it daily in hopes of being the first one to find the slightest clue.

It's probably not the cover, but the wonky lettering could be a symptom of the image size. Particularly if the glass are encrusted with precious gems. That's guaranteed to fuck up a logo right there.

I read once that they take a year to produce, a year to promote/tour, and a year vacation for each album... Just sometimes the vacation ends up being a little longer.

While I'm not sold on the artwork at all, I have to agree that the title is very believable, so if its yet another ruse- at least their getting better it at!
