All the time.

Or is it not really supposed to be that big a deal these days?

I've never cared.

oh, unless I knew I was getting busy later and wanted to wear something attractive underneath.

But day to day, not so much.

I don't think they are. The same way men don't care about matching socks.

I cared when I was a teenager. After that, I started buying bras that really fit instead.

I've got about 40 or so sets of matching stuff and then some randoms but yeah, tend to wear the sets.

No, I can't say it's something I think about. But then I usually wear black and black so they tend to match by default.

So age and frequency of copulation are the main determinants here. And in ms. peachy's case, a monochromatic wardrobe.

I'm just guessing, but that is considered a lot, right?

How about your mom?

i always want it to match even when it just me who will ever see it

I dont own anything that matches :(

fair enough I only have sex every 2-3 months but still that's not the reason.

I do have some nice bras but these are always followed on top with a sports bra because I have yet to find a bra that actually supports me in the fashion i required.
Im sure wearing 2 bras would be more expensive than one really good bra but really really good bras approach the 60+ dollar mark. (and no, I refuse to pay 60+ dollars for a bra).

Im enjoying the microfibre boy short fit undies lately. they are pretty rad and virtually seamless.

Honestly... your refusal hurts only yourself, you know? A good, properly fitting bra is a great investment. Believe me, I would love - love! - to buy less expensive bras. But if you've got a serious set of knockers that call for 'specialist equipment', honey, spend the money.

Agreed.

The only true matching sets I have are for sexy time only. Otherwise all my bras are solid colors and my panties are mostly patterned so I can mix and color coordinate. The true matches happen almost never if you catch my drift. Um. Yeah. :(

Black all the way (y) and I'm with Peachy, the power of a well fitting set of bosom baskets cannot be underestimated.

I should have made this type of post instead of overtly asking what sex everyone is...

i actually am quite concerned with whether women's bras and panties match. it's usually the first thing i look for

I try to match all the time and always wear nice stuff. Today, for example, I had to lift something above my head and a coworker made a comment about my red christmas tree boxers that were showing because my shirt came up. Oh my! Could you imagine if I didn't match?

i wish all ladies thought this way. boy shorts are hands down the hottest.

i think it's sexier when women are wearing un-matching sets, myself.

I would imagine boy shorts aren't really comfortable for girls who don't have much back. They need to hug something, ya dig? Fortunately, I have plenty for those things to grab onto, so no problems here, but I doubt they're flattering on the lesser endowed on the backside.

oh, I didn't say my 2 bra-combo didnt do the trick, I just mentioned it because it is probably far from attractive, which is what i thought the point of the thread was.
Bras that look cute PLUS are supportive are always far far more money than I want to spend because I dont want to spend 40 dollars extra for the prettiness factor.
All i care about is comfort. I rarely am wearing an outfit where Im exposing my cleavage either, so my sports bra is always happily hidden, so as long as my boobs look good under my clothes and I feel supported thats all I care about.

wow, I have never talked about bras this much before. yow.

I've got matching sets, and I prefer to wear them even day to day. I've been known to hand wash and then blow dry (we don't have a bloody clothes dryer) my favourite sets before heading to a club or bar in the event of some after hours action - it just makes me feel better and when I feel better I'm more fun, which means I have more fun, and to me that's kinda the whole point of it all.

The color has to match - if not, I'll do my best to match something up. I've got some cute ruffled shorties that are a soft green color with a slight pattern on them but the trim and little mesh panels are white so they look fine with a white bra.

Cliche as it may be, I wear them for myself because I am stuck wearing suits for work it's kind of fun to know that I am wearing some crazy turquiose leopard print shenanigans underneath. And seeing as I am perpetually single, no one else is going to see them.

And plus, as I have them all in my drawer together in their sets, I never have to faff around finding separate pieces. I don't know if 40 sets is a lot. I just like to have them and keep buying more.

No, I'm pretty sure 40 sets is a lot, now that I think about it.

Guys obviously have it a lot easier in the underwear department. I don't think women generally have too many high expectations, other than clean and not overly worn, generic, plain colors etc. But it also leaves very little room for experimenting. Which is fine. I don't think a lot of girls want to see anything too crazy on a dude.

The most I can usually hope for is that someone will notice how well my socks coordinate with the rest of what I'm wearing. When I'm fully clothed, I mean.

I've never bought a bra and panty set. I buy my bras separately from underwear because I value comfort over cuteness. not to say my bras aren't cute. the one I have on now is pink with teeny polka dots and a leetle bow in the middle.

my favorite kind of underwear are bikini briefs. they're kind of like boy shorts, but a little more skimpy. I have some boy shorts that are okay, but they just seem to get all bunched up and go up my bum because of all the extra fabric. maybe I just need a smaller size.

anyway, I rarely match. I'm considering getting rid of all my bras and underwear and getting all black. but I probably won't.

seriously. I got lucky and things were on sale when I went, but I still spent a good $120+ on 3 bras. I needed it.

Also: GET SIZED. Seriously. Go to Nordstrom's I'd say. You can't be too shy as the ladies will fit you while you are topless but it's 100% worth it.

I've been wearing a cup size too small and a band size too big for YEARS. Now that I have the right size I'm super comfy. But it does suck that most super cute bras only come in smaller sizes :( Cute AND comfortable for us larger breasted women isn't something that really exists.

in regular shops like H&M they dont even have my bra size but my sister works at triumph so i get lots of big sized quality bras for free or for very cheap
