my college boyfriend used to complain that my underwear didn't match my bras. I had a lime green bra and lime green cotton underpants that I showed him and he said, "that doesn't count." We were also going out to a club once and before we went out, he requested that I wear something sexier than I'd normally wear (thrift store t-shirts and baggy skater jeans). So I put on a tight shirt...and baggy overalls and a hoody. ha ha! I win!

that kid was such a douche.


anyway, I like it when chicks wear cotton underwear that matches, or coordinates. not saying that I do that, but I find the ladies in the hanes ads to be appealing.

It's more the cut than the material, I guess. I hate lacy underwear generally, but I have several pairs of black lace brazillian/skimpy cut bottoms that seem to please most. Most of my gear matches - I have alot of black and white sets, but also some really cute stuff. I picked up a pair of Honeydew bottoms and they're a fantastic cut - from the front they're like little ruffle-y shorts and from the back they cut across my butt in the perfect spot.

I don't like regular cut bottoms - there has to be something about them for me to want to purchase. Shorties, side ties, ruffles, ohh and my faves at the moment are these cute little cotton ones that are gathered round the waistband and round the legs, they're really low rise and cute/sexy as hell.

I like underwear way too much.

Am I really the only one who voted for matching lacy?

As a child, I always assumed (judging by pictures in Sears flyers and from watching Benny Hill) that women's undergarments were just always purchased in matching sets. It wasn't until I was a teenager and began seeing more scantily clad girls in real life, that I realized this was seldom ever the case. Which was fine, but it just took a while before I figured it out.

I don't at all really care either way, but if we're talking preferences, I guess I just like when things do match. It sort of suggests orderliness, or good grooming habits/hygiene. That sounds sort of mindless. I just mean, when it isn't expected, it just seems more....grown up? Professional? I don't really know how to explain it. I'm obviously more inclined to notice things like not matching your belt to your shoes, or to your purse. I think Jessica Biel makes a pretty good case for the non-matching (http://gothamnews.files.wordpress.com/2008/08/jessicabielskivvies.jpg) constituent of femalekind anyhow.

The only real turnoff is seriously worn or stained underwear. I'm sure this goes for most guys and girls, though.

i voted matching lacy. in my experiences a woman who color coordinates usually has her shit together. it has never been a deal breaker though. also, wearing nothing underneath has to be unsanitary. i've always found "boy shorts" completely wack. if i wanted to be with someone who wears "boy shorts" then i would just be gay.

i have a.... large booty. boy shorts work well to keep it contained and yet sexy. i also like those kinds that look like boy briefs with the little flap. you know, except cut a bit lower and cuter.

i'm glad not many have said thong. i've always kept a few pair, but my big booty just doesn't respond well to them. i keep them for special "they'll be on for 5 mins" moments.
