but in the past few weeks I have developed a cumpulsion to shoplift. I've never done it before, not even a lippy from Boots as a teen but 3 times over the past month, I have seriously considered it and the thought of getting away with it. So much so that I have had to put the items down and walk out before I go through with it. I have no idea why.
I used to steal stuff, got caught and carried on, got caught and didn't do it again.
I'm not sure why I did it either - I was 13 years old though. Paying for stuff does also suck.

It starts with little things like bubble gum. Next, you're sitting there thinking of ways to knock over banks.

i think about that every time i buy a bag of ice.
they have the freezers on the outside of the store, and i feel that i could grab a couple bags and toss em in my trunk without anybody even caring. half the time when you ask for them at the store, the cashier is kind of shocked that you are paying extra for it anyway

I've half done it with charcoal before. Asked for a bag and they say collect it on the way out - So I just take a few extra and wave good bye, forgetting they have cameras recording every single number plate. Stuff outside petrol stations is put there to be stolen.

take things u know u can get away with:
toilet paper from walmart bathrooms
ketchup packets from fast food
soy sauce from chinese food places
things that are basically free anyway but you r not supposed to abuse...
maybe you're bored with your normal, daily routine and looking for some excitement

Yes, perhaps it's out of boredom (I am pretty bored at the moment) My sister is calling it my Winona complex.
But how Miho described it as 'intrusive thoughts' is pretty accurate. I just have this sudden overwhelming desire to take the stuff. Pfft.
(too bad it isn't compulsive thoughts to make out with other girls and post the pictures on here...)

Give in to the dark side. Its not like your stealing from poor people or anything.
I steal all kinds of stuff. PM me if you need advice.

The rush you get from the chance of getting caught can be as addicting as any drug.
I use to shoplift everything from pens and markers to Leather Coats, Jewlery, and major appliances.
I went from shoplifting for myself, to organizing an entire network of retail mall employees that shoplifted from each other. It was kind of an "I steal from your store and you can steal from mine".
I was like a young Henry Hill.
Never got caught, just kind of grew out of it.

i still get close to steal things when i really want them and have no money but i can resist cause i think it's not worth getting in trouble for some worthless crap
the thought of getting caught doesnt make me horny at all, i just want that shit

I've only stolen a garfield bandaid out of a pack. I felt really bad about it.
I stole money from my old bosses because they were skimming my paychecks. so I don't know if that's really stealing.
stealing is wrong, I like to follow the rules. most of the time.
shoplifting raises the prices for law-abiding folks.
