it's true.

my friend's son (10 or 11 y/o at the time) told me a few years ago that if a girl likes a boy she will fight him.

basically a boy would just sort of punch a girl or get a girl into a head lock or something, and if the girl fights him back, that means she likes him.

if, however, the girl sticks out her hand in his face and turns her head away, that means she's not interested.

i can't decide whether it is easier or tougher for the adults to know whether someone likes them or not.
