also, the ref tonight was appauling, and since i was neutral i was rooting for the 'english' club. the only word i can think of for it is robbed.

also on the fletcher thing, he did technically get the ball there, but going in at such a dodgy angle with your leg up in the air on the last man, theres always atleast 50% chance you're going to concede a penalty even if you do make contact with the ball. especially leaving a big leg trailing behind you to take out everything in its path. as a professional on that wage you should always put in 100% till the end, but maybe there he should have just tried to jockey him instead of flinging himself at it and taking that risk. his own fault IMO

its my life. people watch games for entertainment. when i watch i study. i was easily on course to play professionally before a massive groin injury took me down in my prime. i would watch youtube videos of the greats and study everything from foot placement, distance a move is done, spacing, how its done, exactly what part of the ball their foot makes contact with on moves and shots, ect. then go practice the shit till it was air tight. id watch games and study spacing and when to attack when to dribble, when to move the ball ect ect. im on a level where people dont even get what im talking about, especially in america, because they just dont know the science of the game.

believe what you want, and im not saying this to seem like some know it all cunt. but the shit was my life. still is, but not to the same point. once the injury happened and it was clear i was never going to get back to where i was, the real world sets in and other things take precedent. but still, all those hours upon hours of studying and practicing dont just leave a guy. once again sorry to seem like a dick with it.

look, you may love the game, have played the game and show real enthusiasm for it which coming from a yank is surprising to me but in a good way, i just think you need to realise you dont know it all and what you know about football isnt that much and that some people know more and that other opinions count as well, just take on board other peoples knowledge and opinions and your love, knowledge and enthusiasm for the game will grow but if you keep just disagreeing and giving it billy big balls all the time it wont.

not really seeming like a dick i was just saying. also, i wouldnt really say your style is really annoying, just annoying. i mean we all love the game, ive been playing competitively almost every day since i was 8 and still played a lot before that. i like you also had potential which didn't work out. i'm a season ticket holder at my club and go a lot of away games too. i watch a lot of football on the TV and foreign footy on the net. we've all seen a lot of football man. i dont dont spend that much time and money on it because i have to... lol. also, theres only so much that watching greats can teach you. id say football is about 50% instinct

jealously pure and simple. barca are one of the best attacking teams...ever. messi is getting to maradona (minus the coke) like proportions (yes better than ronaldo, a lot better) eto'o is a classical forward, henry...is henry...even at less than 100% fitness. add one of the best midfields in xabi and ineiasta thats such a sick offensive team. the fact that manures "awesome" quartet of forwards could not score on a 75% 2nd rate barca back line is embarrassing. i would take any of those 4 attacking players on milan, yet none of them could conquer up any magic on that night. sad.



bullshit. my brother is going to play seria C this summer after finishing college in da usa. last year he had a tryout to see if he would go back over after he was done. there is no fucking way you are doing what these guys 3 levels below da best of da best are even doing let alone the top players in the world. dont even front on that. go run 2 and a half miles in 11 mins. get a 10 min break. run 2 and a half miles in 11 and a half mins. get a 10 min break. then go run 2 and a half miles in 12 mins and see if thats harder than what you do for a living. try and eat only what the give you to maintain a certain weight while you "work". dont bullshit man, you may not like what you do, it may be hard, but what professional athletes do is out of this world. regardless if they fucking love to do it.
