check. I'm not being a jerk or ironic when I say I'm kinda glad in a way that there isn't anything new or worthwhile on the updated Paul's and CYH (in my opinion people) because I don't have the extra money to drop right now. like it's almost relief.

well i've always thought the sound quality on pauls boutique was poor and it has always bugged me, the re-issue is outstanding and I'm not anal about new technology but I really really noticed the difference. As for check your head great extra disc, lyric sheet which I've never had and with the clear sound I now can understand what they are saying in their FUZZBOX rapping.on the whole it really is a different sound experience for me and I really did'nt think it would be,I just bought them co's I'm a fan.
Nah, not going to either. I mean what am I supposed to do with my old copies?
I'm not a miser but it just doesn't make sense to buy what I've already got. Plus I've already got two copies of CYH and IC (UK and Japanese versions).

I downloaded the re-issue of Paul's Boutique. Definitely an improvement on audio quality... so I think it was well worth (someone's) money.
The Check Your Head re-issue I have no interest in. Really, what can they improve on? It was recorded with modern equipment, I don't think they added any songs, so I don't know what I would need it for...

sounds good (pun intended). ha, ha. no, the good news for the CYH cd is that they're only charging for 1 cd. well at least at Virgin they had it for just $12. which I thought was a good price for 2 discs. the cover photo looks like a scan of a scan of a scan of the original image though.

I've been meaning to.
I've thought about it, but really haven't been motivated to buy either album. I probably will but I'm not really listening to the bboys at the moment anyway.

Really wanted to go big for PB, poster and all, I just could not justify the cash.. Waited until last night and bought both PB and CYH. CD's only..

I got CYH but not PB. B-sides + limited quantities motivated me to order it on day one.
I'll get PB eventually just for the remastered lossless files. I guess I'll get it on vinyl because I already have a CD copy, but I hear the new vinyl sounds the same as the old vinyl whereas the new CD sounds much much better than the old CD so it's a tough decision. I won't buy it without a physical copy because I don't do that shit.

Not bought any-would do if i had the cash but i don't. Was so pissed off last week coz i wasted £40 for my son to do a football thing and then he didn't want to do it. All i could think was that would have got me that biiiig poster-and the rest.
Don't think i will be either-any spare money will be put forward for tickets to see them when the new album finally drops

Anyone notice on the remaster of CYH, Boomin Granny has a skip. I thought it was just my disk, but it does it on the official site as well. At the very beginning, after they say "I want you, Boomin' Granny, I need you Boomin' Granny", they say "Boomin' Granny" 3 times, then "Good and Plenty". It is the second time they say it, it skips. I can't believe that got by all checks. Minor, I know, but I am going to hear it every time now because I know it is there.

I noticed this too. Seems kind of lazy for a "remastered" edition.

I was thinking it was just my imagination but I noticed that Netty's Girl is slowed down from the original release (it's length it 3:00 on the Anthology and 3:24 on the CYH remaster). What's that all about?
