or collapsed or is geting beaten up. And people just stand around and don't do anything.
Crazy to me.
Seconds can save someones life.

Too many people don't know what's going on around them these days. That's why people ram into others with their cars while they talk on the cell phone.
Also, nobody wants to get hurt or sued, so nobody reacts to those situations as they should.

Society, in general, seems to grow more callous and uncaring everyday.
I blame it all on that Ozzy Osbourne heavy metal music.
You're a first responder, aren't you Chewy?

the volleyball broad?
Can't blame people - too many conflicting views on what to do - move them, don't move them, give them air, keep them warm, move them out of the fast lane of traffic, steal their wallet etc.
I mean, I don't know what to do - except I have a life guarding qualification so if they was drowning I'd know what to do - fetch a brick off the bottom of the pool...
I am guessing they dialled 999 (or 911. 112 or whatever it is in your particular country), otherwise they'd all be pretty dim not to do that

This thread is a joke, right?
Shame on you people who took it seriously. Get a brain morans.
I don't get the joke
Why should I feel ashamed?
Ah zombies - they are after brains!! Is that the joke?
Nah, I still don't get it

In order to make this thread, he had to come to this website and type it all out.
This is the internet.
This reminds me of the time when I was fairly new to the web and in 1997 some1 asked me 'asl' and I didn't have a clue what it meant.
Echewta is normally pretty funny but I seriously don't get this. I wasn't going to reply but that is just admitting defeat by the thread. I'm proud to feel stupid by this, means I've grown up :)

I actually made this thread regarding the video that had the guy passing out on Fox news. He goes down and they wide shot the crew just kinda like "uh yea, but we are on the air and wha?"
This thread was not made in folley.

Get a brain morans.
What's a moran? I know some people with the last name Moran, but I didn't know they visited the BBMB.

Well, we're not all firefighters, nor do most of us have any CPR experience. I'd say the only one who really knew what was going on that second was Beck, who promptly asked for help. Most people freeze in those situations. It's not uncommon at all. It wouldn't be a bad idea for most people to join a CPR class. It could save lives, and let people know what to expect when something like this happens. It's not surprising to me that nobody does though.

He's referencing this (http://www.nerve.com/CS/blogs/scanner/2009/03/01-07/moran.jpg).
Adam. Padster meant that the thread looked like it was written in a sarcastic tone and that Echewta was busy writing about the person fainting instead of helping them out himself.

As long as I've been on this board, I'm really suprised people haven't figured me out yet.
Indeed, we aren't all firefighters nor have CPR experience. But it doesn't take much to go up to the person, just make sure they are ok and/or dial 911 or 8675309 or 999.
It seems like people will react quicker if its a friend or family member.
Just observations.
Thanks Padster for not standing by and watching this thread die. I appreciate you bring it back to life. Fast acting.

its dumb and everything, but some people are afraid to do something and do something wrong, right?
i think for most people, when people do something, like probably you - there's no thinking involved - you just do
