The Gathering Storm (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wp76ly2_NoI) yep and a gathering lathering of parody (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L0pPEAdDn64) too, we made be made to convert to digital TV if gay marriage becomes legal.

Then of course there is Colbert (http://www.colbertnation.com/the-colbert-report-videos/224789/april-16-2009/the-colbert-coalition-s-anti-gay-marriage-ad).

The Bigots’ Last Hurrah by Frank Rich (http://www.nytimes.com/2009/04/19/opinion/19Rich.html?_r=1&em)

WHAT would happen if you crossed that creepy 1960s horror classic “The Village of the Damned” with the Broadway staple “A Chorus Line”? You don’t need to use your imagination. It’s there waiting for you on YouTube under the title “Gathering Storm”: a 60-second ad presenting homosexuality as a national threat second only to terrorism.

It is unbelievable what people concern themselves with.

honestly, there are more irresponsible and unstable gun owners out there who are a bigger threat than a married gay couple

The first time I saw that Gathering Storm thing, I thought it was a parody. Then someone pointed out to me that no, that's the original. Then I laughed and some of my wine went up my nose and I started coughing and laughing at the same time and nearly couldn't breathe. So you see, gay marriage really is dangerous. I could have died!

is there a legitimate non-religious, non-homophobic argument against gay marriage? and if not, why does the land of freedom (including the freedom of religion) still forbid it

hahaaaa

the best part of that first video is the girl saying "I will have no choice." like when gay marriage is legal she will be forced to marry a woman.

gold jerry, gold.

Yeah, but if two guys get married, who's cooking and doing laundry?

Bob when you and your little lady walk by, that isn't even a question.

that column almost made me cry tears of happiness!

it's really great that even republicans are coming around to supporting same-sex marriage. in never made sense to me that the same people who scream for personal freedom, in the next breath scream to take away the freedom of others.

some of the youtube comments for the original commercial were really good and hilarious. some of the people on there somehow think there's a gay rapist army roaming around sodomizing people, and one guy was like, "well, don't you think that a married gay guy would be less likely to rape you than a single gay guy?"

it was also nice to see that most of the comments were calling out the ridiculousness of the commercial and those who supported it.
