the economy, today and the future

i know of three people who've been laid off recently. i work freelance and its hard to measure things for me yet, but i have made an effort to not throw money away. things are looking gloomy, everyone knows that

i read somewhere that there is another bubble coming before 'the big collapse'. i dont know about this stuff, so i what to think

anyone else seeing changes? plans for the future? adjustments being made now?

i think maybe we should all be learning chinese
