I really would appreciate it anyone could identify this break for me, it's been absoultely bugging my brain for ages.

From 2004 Live at London ICA during 'Root Down' - MMM throws in this break, it sounds like an old electro track, stonking kick and a nice heavy synth - I love it!

and the break that MMM uses is at 3:40

Do you know if it was made by Just Blaze as an original piece for flipside, or is it a sample of an older break?

I don't know, but it looks like the discogs page for Freeway's album lists the samples for the album and doesn't mention any for that song:
