I watched some new cop shows tonight

Southland is pretty awesome (y) I like cop shows a lot, but this one is especially good. it's all interesting and classy and shit, dare I say, riveting. the cast is great. also, you can watch it on hulu. I watched it earlier and was literally on the edge of my seat entranced.


in other news, The Unusuals is pretty lame. Adam Goldberg rules, but the show feels kinda clunky and changes tone too much. the music is distracting and the camera work and editing is very mid-90's MTV. plus, the title is stupid. I did laugh a little though. ah, and the beginning of tonight's episode featured a beastie boys song. I forget which. oops. I was kinda surprised that they'd sell a song to a t.v. show. meh. all in all, I'd rather watch Law and Order.

Stupid thing is, the real police are actually more violent, crazy and have more action than what the most popular police show in the UK is.

I was channel hopping on a break at work in the canteen and caught a minute or so of The Bill.

2 coppers,a bloke who's been in it ages who's hair is now grey and a red head new recruit girl are walking along the street and they come across a bloke on his stag night dressed as ELVIS and hancuffed to a lampost.

what followed after they had freed him were Elvis puns so bad exchanged by the two cuntstables that I nearly sighed in pity at the poor quality of this compared to a proper cop show like The Wire.
