As a sequel to the Anyone received their PB order yet? (http://www.beastieboys.com/bbs/showthread.php?t=90352) thread, I wonder if anyone received their deluxe CYH vinyl yet,
I ordered 3 weeks ago. Hopefully this one won't take as long as the PB order (7 weeks).

I haven't received it yet, but I did get an email to say it had been shipped to me on April 9th! I know it's coming all the way from CA to the UK, but you'd have thought I'd have had it by now. I only ordered via here cause I wanted the T-shirt as well. They're selling the CD/Vinyl down the local music store now!

I don't know what the delay is for?
I've never seen anything like this from any other band.

Why is it not available until nearly 3 weeks after it was put up for sale?

sometimes it takes longer to make cooler things. Plenty of other bands pre-sale special products. I am sure it will be worth the wait.

I know it's not being shipped until at least the 30th,
I just don't see why these collector packages are being released soo much later than the normal release.

I was hoping maybe someone could offer a legit reason for it.

Because they shipped yours early, only to show up at your doorstep to steal it before you got it. It's one of those crazy Beastie pranks we love so dearly!

But seriously, what you guys don't realize is that the Beastie Boys are part of the Illuminati. Remember, they're Jewish. They're part of a secret conspiracy to maximize profits so that they can fund a campaign to bring about a new world order. They live in a bunker one mile beneath the earth's surface where they sit upon a pile of unreleased material which they will never release to the public. This enables them to continually re-release their old material in secret micro-chipped packaging that allows them to monitor fan location at any given time so that buying habits can be further monitored in aid of said conspiracy. Of course, you guys know how it is with micro-chips and whatnot. There's never enough supply to meet demand, and like so many Nintendo Wiis, the special edition vinyl packages are waiting to have the chips implanted in them. All the while their fans suffer, shivering, and waiting.

I just got mine today! I got the t-shirt and double CD pack. Upon listening to it, once again it lived up to what I thought it would be. The sound is so much more crisp, just like to remastered issue of PB. It makes the original sound so old and tired. When I first got wind of them remastering old albums I thought " so what" but it truly does make sense. My only concern about these remastered albums are will they count as the record deal they had with capital as to how many albums they had to release as part of thre deal?
