I want bangs

or "fringe" as some of you call it. Everytime i get my hair cut though they always fuck it up and do the opposite of what I want so I'm afraid they'll give me mom bangs instead of like, Heidi Klum/Liv Tyler etc bangs.

definitely bring photos with you of what you want.

if you see a girl with bangs that you like, stop her if you can and ask where she gets her hair done.

another thing: you get what you pay for. I'm not saying go crazy and pay $100 for just a bangs cut (and most places, even if you are a new client will do your bangs for free to get your business or charge just $5-$10 bucks), but definitely don't go to a cheap place. They will butcher your hair.

oh also, I'm not sure which area you live in but checking various business review websites (yelp.com for example) could help your search for a reputable hair salon.
