Yo, so I just went and saw the new star trek, and 10 minutes into that shit SABOTAGE starts blaring! Sooooo sick. I don't know about the rest of you, but this makes perfect sense. Bboys are always hollering about Dr. Spock and such, it only makes sense that they'd have a song in the new movie. The movie was pretty tight too. I am not the biggest Star Trek fan (other than Wrath of Kahn) but this was wicked. Maybe the Beastie Boys had something to do with it. hhaha:D

the movie was amazing. sabotage was pretty awesome. It runs through the part in the trailer of young kirk driving teh vette and jumps out in slow mo and then claws his way from falling down a large cliff or whatever.

The movie was dope!

I knew the song was in the trailer, but it kind of surprised me when it was blasting on the big screen.

So the movie was great.

Sabotage fit the scene really well, but think about this. Young Kirk was listening to an "oldies" station which played a song by a band who often sang about & referenced people that Kirk won't even know about for another 25 years.

Things that make you go... Jiberish, go fuck yourself.

A real oldies station indeed. That song would be something like 250 years old.

Present day, that would be like a kid getting chased by the cops while blasting Beethoven. Hmm... 9th Symphony might actually work.

Maybe there was an old Ill Communication CD in that old Corvette.
