I don't really know much about her. she just seems like she thinks really highly of herself. and her music is just alright. her voice is decent, but I've heard better.

I'm not really sure why everyone has such a big boner for neko. it's music for 35 year-olds who think they're cool. (yes, I know that her popularity stretches beyond that, my roommate is 25 and loves her, and is by all accounts not a dork).

It's not like I really care (I don't know her personally) but I'm a bit curious as to why you think she "seems to think really highly of herself".

Maybe I missed some interview or something but I always found her to come off pretty cool. But I am in my mid thirties and think I'm cool so...

but I guess that coupled with the video taquitos linked, plus the fact that she was a supreme bitch to a friend of mine once*, makes me thinks she's arrogant.

oh oh, also, I read an article about the new pornographers years ago, and they basically said that she shows up when she wants and they just have to plan things around her or play shows without her. and personally, I like the songs they do without her better.
