MArch 30, i think.
My show reviews have dwindled to nothing along with discretionary income, and yet - i have seen some music.
Main remaining impressions of subject show:
De La Soul are nice. They were friendly. So satisfying to see that, though I was too shy to approach them... from 4 short folks rows back in vaccum venue, Canes.
It must've been a house. There is a balcony and large air before the stage.
In terms of physics, it must just drain the tension? or i don't know.
Never seen a truly tight show there - due entirely to the laxity of the audience, because some people WORK for you.
Anyway, LB et al burned bright as ever - and he gets touchy with a live crowd - but the energy ? the balcony? sagged.
Then They, De, came out and I can't tell you but that they are some of the first hop hop that I knew. nd they were so effing nice,
tolerant of our reagan clapping audience. and the guy in front of me, showed them two of their own albums. his arms did not tire easily.
