I hate to be that guy, but seriously, I feel like we should've heard something by now about the upcoming record. No release date, no tracklisting, not even a confirmation on the title. I sure hope it hasn't been pushed back to next season. Each time I check in on the site I'm hopin' it's gonna be like all tricked out with some tasty new album graphics. Oh well. :o

I'm jonesin', ma, I'm jonesin'!

I don't care any more. It will be fun when it happens, but pinning all this anticipation on another album is pointless.

Patience is a virtue. With the festival shows starting for them in just over a month I would guess they'll be doing some interviews and such. Additional info should trickle out.

But yeah...if they're doing festivals wouldn't they be "done" with the final tweaks and mixes and tinkering with Tadlock? Or maybe not...

I know exactly what you mean...I keep checking this site everyday and hope for some new info.

Last time, it was May 1st when they announced The Mix Up in an e-mail, so there is still hope for a summer release, I just can't wait much longer!

I remember last time they said that they schedule shows in order to force them to complete albums, so I believe that's what is happening again.

Hopefully really soon!

I usually do quite well with patience, being the virtue that it is, but I think what set me off was the following remark by Mic Controller Adam:

"We're tweaking some mixes and we're going to master it in the next couple of weeks," he explained.

The article this appeared in, from the BBC, dropped on February 23rd. While it's hardly out of the oridinary for a record to remain completed for some time before being released, obviously, it just fries my circuits knowing that the finished product is out there, just waiting to flip lids.

The longest Christmas eve ever. :D

Sad, but this is pretty much my attitude too. All the remasters and special packages and shit has been "bleh" for me. I'm really not excited at all to tell you the truth. Hopefully, I will be.

Being a beastie boys fan involves some serious dedication and patience.... They do tend to do things on 'their' terms. I'm resigned to the 'it'll happen when it happens' camp.
