hey everyone. just finished this mix. in case anyone wants to mix this pella too, the tempo i got was 102.63.

about the mix, i tried to capture the vibe that i got from lee majors come again but i still wanted my own touch on it. i'm really happy with the bass tone on this track. i recorded the bass track clean first, then passed that through two different distortions and panned the results. this track is gonna go under my Round Elbow Lemons name, which is what I call my original music.

I did a B-Boys in the Cut mix as well. It's a mash with Animal Collectives, Lion in A Coma. I like the FX sreeetch I did on the chorus, it screwed-up a'la Dj Screw style.

I was going for somthing that sounded like this MCA qoute, like I do with most my mixes.

Posting your own opinion however, doesn't make you a messenger, it makes you the critic.

The Animal Collective track has a BPM of 110.XX, so I just bumped the pella up to match. Thus, they technically are in sync.

If it doesn’t sound right to you, that's cool.

Oh and Zapp's is by far the best yet. he always comes correct.
